- FBO NCO15 MATOC SUBCONTRACTING SPECIAL NOTICE THIS INFORMATION IS POSTED FOR SUBCONTRACTING OPPORTUNITIES ONLY. PROPOSALS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FROM ANY FIRMS OTHER THAN THE SEVEN (7) PREVIOUSLY SELECTED NCO15 HVAC MATOC CONTRACTORS ONLY. NO SOLICITATION DOCUMENT WILL BE POSTED FOR THIS REQUIREMENT. THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY, THEREFORE, FAR 5.203 DOES NOT APPLY. IDIQ TASK ORDER FOR Project # 657-19-504JC Replace Ductwork Building 2T, St. Louis VAMC, John Cochran Division. SUMMARY STATEMENT OF WORK : This building is a modular building supporting OATP including dispensing methadone and other meds. This duct/diffuser replacement is part of the total mold remediation plan to be accomplished by VHASTL that includes repairs and improvements to the building s envelope, rainwater drainage system, humidification, ventilation improvements and terminal cleaning of the entire building and its contents. Because of complaints of poor air quality air and tape lift sampling was conducted. The results of this sampling revealed the presence of Penicillium / Aspergillus and Cladosporium. Because of the health risks mold presents to the employees and patients that utilize this building, this project needs to move forward as fast as possible in the interest of employee health and to minimize interruption to the OATP services provided to the veterans of the St. Louis area. Remove and discard existing ceiling tile throughout the building. Remove and discard existing ductwork from (3) HVAC units Remove and discard existing (3) Package Wall Mount HVAC Units Furnish and install new Package Wall Mount HVAC units with dehumidification. Furnish and install new supply and return ductwork on (3) HVAC units. Duct sizes to match existing. Remove and replace portions of existing chase to access vertical duct at the rear of the building. Paint to match existing. Externally insulate all new ductwork to allow future cleaning. Reinstall existing automated controls on new ducts Reinstall existing ceiling grid and repair as necessary Furnish and install new ceiling tile throughout the building Furnish and install new plastic diffusers Install new dampers to match existing conditions and provide a fully balanced system.
