- ***PLEASE CONTACT JULIE FOOTE WITH ANY TECHNICAL QUESTIONS OR TO SUBMIT CAPABILITIES TO JULIE.A.FOOTE@NASA.GOV *** NASA/MSFC has a requirement for the renewal of the NightStar software maintenance and hardware maintenance for the iHawk and ImaGen rackmount systems plus peripheral devices supporting the MSFC Integrated Avionics Test Facilities (IATF) labs which include the System Integration Labs (SIL), the Software Development Facilities (SDF), and the System Integration Test facilities (SITF). These labs perform the integration and testing of the avionics systems and flight software for the new launch vehicles. The Concurrent Real-Time, Inc. brand servers are used in all of the IATF labs, test and development lines. NASA/MSFC intends to procure this software from Concurrent Real-Time, Inc. on a sole source basis. The Government intends to acquire this commercial item using FAR Part 12. All contractual and technical questions must be in writing e-mail to Julie Foote at julie.a.foote@nasa.gov no later than September 13, 2019 by 12:00 P.M. CST. Telephone questions shall not be accepted. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact (JULIE.A.FOOTE@NASA.GOV) no later than September 13, 2019 by 12:00 P.M. CST. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. NASA Clause 1852.215-84, Ombudsman, is applicable.
