Description

The Department of Veterans SAO Central, Network Contracting Office 10, located at 3140 Governor s Place Blvd., Suite 210, Kettering, OH 45409 intends to enter into a sole source purchase order agreement with the service-disabled veteran-owned small business, Alliant Enterprises 333 Bridge St. NW Ste. 1125, Grand Rapids, MI 49504. This is a FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) sole source procurement made under the authority of Other Than Full and Open Competition IAW FAR 6.302-1 and 41 USC 3304(a)(1). This is an emergency order. The associated North America Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 334517 and the Business Size Standard is 1,000 employees. This notice satisfies the requirement at FAR 5.201(b)(1), to publicize the proposed contract action. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation documents are available at this time. Interested parties may give written notice to LouAnn.Gilliland@va.gov by 12:00pm e.s.t. on September 12, 2019. Responses will be considered by the Government; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Inquiries shall be emailed to LouAnn.Gilliland@va.gov. No telephone requests will be accepted. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in future procurements.
