FLINT, MICHIGAN FED-BIZ-OPPS NOTICE 36C250190103 The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Seeks Expressions of Interest for Approximately 8,897 ABOA (Net Usable Square Feet) of Existing Space for the VA in Flint, Michigan Notice: This advertisement is a notice of a potential opportunity. This advertisement is not a request for lease proposals, nor is it a solicitation for offers. The purpose of this advertisement is to identify potential sources and suitable locations and is not intended to pre-qualify or disqualify any potential offers. Requirements: State: Michigan City: Flint Delineated Area: North E Vienna Road South Bristol Road East Highway 15 West Highway 13 ABOA/RSF: 8,897/Not to Exceed 12,010 Rentable Square Feet Space Type: Medical Parking Spaces: 50 Full Term: Not to Exceed 20 years Description: The VA currently occupies medical and related space in a building under lease in Flint, MI that will be expiring. The Government will consider alternative space if it is economically advantageous. The Government will consider among other things the availability of alternative space that can potentially satisfy the requirements listed above as well as costs likely to be incurred through relocating, i.e. physical move costs, replication of tenant improvements, information technology and telecommunication infrastructure and not productive agency downtime. Offered space must meet the Government requirements for fire safety, accessibility, seismic and sustainability standards per the terms of the lease (if this notice results in a lease). A fully serviced lease is required, and the offered space shall not be located in a 100-year flood plain.
