Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center 2002 Holcombe Blvd, Houston, TX 77030 580-20-1-026-0027 PURPOSE The Michael E. DeBakey Veterans Affairs Medical Center requires a base year with 4 one-year options (Base +4 contract) for various types of Grifols Automated Immunohematology Analyzer reagents, supplies and service. The Blood Bank at the MEDVAMC owns 2 Grifols Automated Immunohematology Analyzers. These instruments are proprietary in nature and only Grifols Diagnostic Solutions Inc. can provide the required reagents, supplies and service. The Grifols Automated Immunohematology Analyzers are a highly interactive fully automated system for Transfusion Medicine Laboratories. They enhance Transfusion Safety and establish critical efficiencies. The analyzers verify and document diagnostic checks throughout the sampling process, as well as, give Transfusion Medicine professionals the ability to track every critical step in the testing process.
