- Request for Quote (RFQ) Template Salient Characteristics Combined Synopsis / Solicitation PR # F2MTR49008AW02 344 TRS Augmented Reality Arc Welders This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. This combined synopsis/solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). Submit written offers IAW CLIN structure outlined in this announcement and the quote template sheet provided. Oral offers will not be accepted. All firms or individuals responding must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM)(https://www.sam.gov). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2019-05 [effective 13 August 2019 (updated with Class Deviation: 2019-O0009)] and DFARS DPN 20190809 (effective 09 August 2018 edition). The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 333992, "Arc Welding Equipment Manufacturing". The applicable size standard is 1,250 employees. The PSC Code is 3431, "Electric Arc Welding Equipment". This acquisition is being conducted under Full and Open Competition. PR No.: F2MTR49008AW02 Project Title: 344 TRS Augmented Reality Arc Welders Project Description: The 344th Training Squadron, requests twelve (12) Augmented Welding Systems to supplement live welding, allowing for more practice and advanced training without the consumable waste. Due to the small space available, table top welders are required. This requirement is to support the tenant unit assigned to Port Hueneme Naval Base. It must include a minimum of a one-year warranty. All potential offerors are reminded that compliance with the provision at FAR 52.204-7, System for Award Management, is mandatory.
