This is an amendment to the following Solictation: To change the quantity from 1 to 2 for the following item Optical Nitrate Sensor, to also include the following accessories 10 m extension cable for s::can spectrometer probes, QTY 1 Ruck::sack submersible autobrush for spectro::lyser 5mm OPL, QTY 1 con::nect - interface for s::can monitoring devices, QTY 1 QUOTES ARE DUE VIA EMAIL TO DANIELLE.DOVE@USDA.GOV BY 11:59PM EST SEPTEMBER 17, 2019 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is a combined Synopsis/solicitation for the United States Department of Agriculture, Agriculture Re search Service, prepared in accordance with the format to Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this solicitation. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, quotes are being requested and a written notice, will not be issued. Solicitation Number 972090 - is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses which are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2019-04 and 05 dated August 13, 2019. The above referenced solicitation number is for - Full and Open Competition - referencing NAICS - North American Industrial Classification code 334513. This requirement is reserved EXCLUSIVELY FOR SMALL BUSINESSES with a size standard of 750 employees. Optical Nitrate Sensor for In-stream Water Quality Research Optical Probe for measuring in situ stream nitrate concentrations Sensor Specifications 1. Shall be based on UV spectrometry 2. Shall have a limit of detction of 0.3uM or better 3. Shall be developed for in-stream deployment 4. Shall not exceed 70cm in length 5. Shall adapted for automatic cleaning with a mechanical brush. 6. Shall have the ability to measure nitrate at 5-minute time intervals or less. 7. MUST BE COMPATIBLE WITH SPECTRO::LYSER BY S::CAN Vendors MUST be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) www.sam.gov Vendors who beleive they can provide the above are invited to submit documentation via email by no later than September 17, 2019 to the following point of contact danielle.dove@usda.gov.
