- O-Arm Maintenance The Regional Health Contracting Office-Central, JBSA - Fort Sam Houston, Texas intends to award a firm-fixed-price sole source contract for preventative maintenance and repair services (as described below) of the Government-owned O-Arm Surgical Imaging System and Stealth Station S7 System, located at Brooke Army Medical Center, JBSA Fort Sam Houston, Texas. A performance period of 1 October 2019 - 30 September 2020 is contemplated. Services include actions relating to the preventive maintenance, operation, verification and certification of the system and its components. The contractor shall perform one complete scheduled service inspection consisting of clean, calibrate, lubricate and align all mechanical and optical components including all supplies. The contractor will perform services according to the manufacturer's specifications. Unscheduled services are those services relating to the repair and/or replacement of parts in the system or components. All personnel performing services shall be certified by Medtronic USA, as the original equipment manufacturer, to perform maintenance and repair services on this equipment. The contract will be awarded to Medtronic USA, of Jacksonville, Florida, under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106 (b) (1). The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 811219, Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance. The Small Business Size Standard is $22M. Medtronic is an "other-than-small business." The contract will be awarded on or after 20 September 2019. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which shall be considered by the agency before the intended award date. Interested sources who submit data are responsible for appropriately marking information if it is proprietary in nature. In order for the Government to consider another source, the capability statement must identify the source's ability to meet the requirements listed above The Government shall not reimburse interested sources for any information provided. No requests for capability briefings will be honored as a result of this notice and any information provided will not be used as part of any subsequent solicitation requirement. No telephonic inquires will be honored. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses, if any, to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
