Description

For request for solicitation, provide your name, the company name and Cage Code and a telephone/facsimile number. PRON : D19H0167D1. The Government proposes to acquire on a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract, a quantity of 30 each of an CIRCUIT CARD ASSEMB NSN: 5998-01-652-2778, Part Number: 13646234-3 applicable to the M-D6 Patriot weapon system. Production Lead Time without First Article Testing (FAT) 24 Months After Receipt of Order (ARO) with deliveries to Fort Bliss, TX 79916-5801. This item is restricted to RAYTHEON COMPANY CAGE CODE: 05716. This part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing knowledge by the qualified source(s) require acquisition of the part from the approved source(s). The approved source(s) retain data rights, manufacturing knowledge, or technical data that are not economically available to the Government, and the data or knowledge is essential to maintaining the quality of the part. An alternate source must qualify in accordance with the design control activity's procedures, as approved by the cognizant Government engineering activity. The qualification procedures must be approved by the Government engineering activity having jurisdiction over the part in the intended application. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website http://amcomdmz.redstone.army.mil/casl_cmo/casldba.casl_cmo_samsar and looking under Standardized Aviation and Missile Source Approval Request (SAMSAR). All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above. Foreign Firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies.
