Description
FBO Sources Sought FBO Sources Sought Blanket Purchase Request for Office Furniture and Cubical Design This Sources Sought Notice will be utilized by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Detroit District to establish a list of sources interested in Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPA) for services related to Office Furniture and Cubical Design. A Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) as defined by FAR 13.303(a) is a simplified method of filling anticipated repetitive needs for supplies or services by establishing " charge accounts " with qualified sources of supply. The BPA does not guarantee, nor obligate the Government to, any orders to a BPA holder in any way. The agreements will have a period of performance of five (5) years from the date the Master Agreement is established. As services are required, the Government will issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) to vendors actively holding a BPA Master Agreement. BPA holders will not be required to quote on every RFQ. Quotes will be required to be submitted electronically, via email, or fax. Interested Vendors should be capable of provide all labor, materials, and qualified personnel, supervision and quality control necessary to perform all work All work shall be accomplished in strict accordance with industry and safety standards. It is a requirement that any technician working, repairing and testing specific government equipment have certifications by the manufacturer. To be eligible for a BPA, an Interested Vendor SHALL have an active record in the System for Award Management (SAM), at www.sam.gov and SHALL be HUBZone Certified. Questions concerning the establishment of the BPA's for services related to Office Furniture and Cubical Design at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Detroit District can be directed to CPT Derek Gibson, Contract Specialist, at LRE-Quotes@usace.army.mil and derek.s.gibson@usace.army.mil The anticipated NAICS code is 337214 "Office Furniture (except Wood) Manufacturing" with a small business size standard of 1,000 Employees. It is anticipated that USACE will be developing multiple projects associated with the layout and reconfiguration of furniture, partitions, doors, and associated features at the Detroit District Headquarters in Detroit, Michigan. A Scope of Work will be transmitted to the BPA participant for each project with a request to provide a proposal for the associated services. As applicable, a site visit or a pre-proposal conference may also be scheduled at the USACE office to more completely communicate the nature of the requested services. Work may include or be similar to the following. • Provide consultation services to advise USACE personnel with respect to the purchase, layout, or reconfiguration of office spaces, modular office systems, and furniture. • Provide layout drawings, sketches, and catalog information related to the removal, installation or reconfiguration of office furnishings, including work surfaces, panels, artwork and furniture (desk, overhead cabinets, seating, conference room table, and conference room seating). • Provide work station and aisle layouts that conform with 29 U.S. Code 791 and relevant federal standards for accessibility by persons with physical disabilities. • Provide labor, supervision, equipment, tools, and materials to remove, install or reconfigure office furniture, including work surfaces, panels, artwork, and furniture. • Remove and dispose of excess materials and refuse resulting from office projects. • Reconfigure existing USACE furnishings, including Knoll brand (Workstations) or Gunlock brand (Private Offices) products. • Configure and assemble "cubicle" style work stations with wall panels, desks, credenzas, tables, task lighting, and integrated cabling for electrical power and information technology. • Advise USACE on aisle and workspace layouts to conform to industry standards and Government requirements for accessibility.
