Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE September 16, 2019 The Naval Oceanographic Office (NAVOCEANO) Contracting Department at Stennis Space Center, MS, 39522, hereby formally announces the intent to award a firm-fixed price purchase order with a twelve (12) month staggered deliver date on a sole source basis under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 1901(e), as implemented by FAR 13.501(a) to Teledyne Marine. The contractor will be required to provide profiling floats, encryption and one (1) parachute kit. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals; however, all interested persons that identify to the Contracting Officer their intent and capabilities to satisfy the Government ™s requirement within five calendar days of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
