- Attachment RFI Need Statement - Lender Exchange Salesforce Development REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) "Enterprise and Program Support Services for Salesforce/Transaction Product Development (hereafter "LenderX-Salesforce") This Notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes it does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Quote (RFQ) or any promise to issue a RFP or RFQ in the future. This request for information does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. Further, USDA-RD is not at this time seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals related to the subject matter of this RFI. Responders are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI; all costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested party's expense. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP or RFQ issued. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website. NOTE: To facilitate thorough market research, this notice is posted under BOTH NAICs 541511-Custom Computer Program Services __________________________________________ As discussed in the attached "Enterprise and Program Support Services for Salesforce/Transaction Product Development (hereafter "LenderX-Salesforce) Needs Statement", USDA, RD, vision is to create a revolutionary digital loan experience for RD Service agents and its customers directly. It is anticipated that providing a common loan intake, notification and award process that will scale across program areas, will accumulate in a great number of efficiencies for RD. In order to see RD's vision to fruition, the Agency is seeking industry's input as part of acquisition planning and market research (Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 7 Acquisition Planning and FAR Subpart 10, Market Research at www.acquisition.gov. REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) - CAPABILITY STATEMENTS** The USDA-RD is requesting that all interested vendors provide information regarding their experience and capability to perform LenderX-Salesforce. "Do not send marketing materials, brochures, pamphlets, etc.." Your response will assist the Government with acquisition planning, regarding the appropriate acquisition method, contract type/pricing structure, labor categories, potential evaluation criteria, including any possible business set-asides, etc. Responses must include: 1) Business name, address, and company POC (email and telephone numbers); 2) Size of business and socio-economic status; 3) DUNS number; 4) Whether company has a Governmentwide Acquisition Contract (GWAC), i.e., GSA, NASA SEWP, etc. includes any or all of the LenderX-Salesforce (Salesforce CRM) support services; 5) What are the NAICS codes(s) services awarded under; 6) Recent (within last three years) experience in providing LenderX-Salesforce support service to include discussion re:  Software integration with various platforms and specifically Salesforce CRM platform integration with multiple program platforms,  Specific examples of Agile Development (focusing on some of the keys to the sprints/iterations/Program Increments that led to success, and any challenges met;  Acquisition method and/or strategy, contract type/pricing structure, labor categories, and potential applicable evaluation criteria; and  Any germane industry standard, innovations and best practices. Responses due by Monday, October 14, 2019; Time: 1:00pm EST and shall be limited to ten(10) pages. Please submit via e-mail to RD.Acquisitions@usda.gov with the subject line indicating, "YOUR "LENDERX-SALESFORCE-RFI RESPONSE". Proprietary information, if any, should be minimized and MUST BE CLEARLY MARKED. To aid the Government, please segregate proprietary information. Please be advised that all submissions become Government property and will not be returned. **No telephone or email inquiries will be accepted and requests for solicitation packages will not be granted, as no solicitation has been prepared at this time. QUESTIONS: Questions regarding this announcement shall be submitted in writing via email ON OR BEFORE WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 1, 2019, 4:30pmEST to RD.Acquisitions@usda.gov marked in the subject line "LENDERX-SALESFORCE-RFI QUESTIONS". Verbal questions will NOT be accepted. The Government does not guarantee that questions received after Wednesday, October 1, 2019, 4:30pmEST will be answered. INDUSTRY OUTREACH: To facilitate any further market research, please recommend a type of industry outreach activity that may be beneficial to the Government as well as industry. For example, Industry Day, Industry Informational Panels; Informational Meet & Greets, Industry Interactive Webinars, etc. It is anticipated that, if required, Industry Outreach may be conducted in mid-November 2019.
