- This is a notice of intent that AFSC/PZABB anticipates to solicit, negotiate and award a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP), Indefinite Delivery Requirements, 5-Year contract (Basic Ordering Period + 4 Ordering Periods + a 6 month extension), for the repair services of the Antenna Clusters on the AN/ALQ-131 Electronic Countermeasures (EMC) Pod ; National Stock Number(NSN) 5985-01-277-8912EW, Part Number (PN) 584R596G03 and NSN: 5985-01-194-7925EW, Part Number (PN) 584R597G03 used on the F-16 aircraft. This effort is a FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements acquisition to Meggitt Defense Systems, Inc., Cage 25223. NSN 5985-01-277-8912EW (Total Estimated Quantity of 48 each) and NSN: 5985-01-194-7925EW (Total Estimated Quantity of 25 each) will be repaired over the five ordering periods (+ 6 month extension). Delivery is 4 months at a rate of 5 per month (for each NSN) after receipt of repairable. The applicable North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this effort is 811219 (Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance) with the Small Business Size Standard of 22 Million dollars. SOLICITATION WILL BE ISSUED 15 DAYS OR THEREAFTER FROM THIS NOTICE. However, Interested Party or Person(s), responsible sources may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit a proposal(s), which will be considered. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. All proposals received within the 30 days after issuance of solicitation, or 45 days after the publication date of this synopsis will be considered. OMBUDSMAN: All potential offeror(s) should contact the buyer/PCO identified above for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. If the contracting officer does not satisfy your concerns, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate serious contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern.
