Description

NAVSUP Fleet Logistics San Diego (FLCSD) intends to award a Sole Source contract to SIEMENS Product Lifecycle Management DBA SIEMENS CORP, 5800 Granite Parkway, STE 600, Plano, TX 75024-6612, in accordance with FAR 13.501 and FAR 6.302-1. This requirement is for Siemens NX, version 11, NX Mach III Advanced Design/Simulation, version 11, TC Visualization version 10.1 software and NX NASTRAN Multistep Nonlinear add on licensing module. Software Licensing and Support to be used by Code 4.3 Structural-Mechanical Analysis Laboratory, FRCSW, NAS North Island, for the Design and Finite Element Analysis of Repairs and Modifications of F/A-18 Airframe Structure. The proposed contract action is Sole Source only. This Notice of Intent is not a request for quotation. No solicitation or RFQ will be forthcoming. Interested parties may identify their interest and submit capability information in response to this notice by 1100AM PDT 25 September 2019 via email to anthony.t.nguyen1@navy.mil. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract is entirely at the discretion of the Government. NOTE: The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received by the closed date specified herein will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
