- 19RWS44_sol N0016419RWS44 - Low Noise Oscillators (LNO) -5865 - NAICS 334511 Solicitation Issue Date: 30 AUG 2019 - Closing Date: 30 SEPT 2019 - 15:00 Eastern Time ITEM DESCRIPTION- Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane has a requirement for the obsolescence modernization of the Low Noise Oscillator (LNO), a Shop Replaceable Assembly (SRA) in the Universal Exciter Upgrade (UEU), to eliminate the use of obsolete parts. The result of this effort will be the fielding of a fully qualified, two-way interchangeable, form/fit/function replacement of the current LNO (P/N 459525-1). This effort includes Design Requirements Definition, Design, Engineering Documentation, Testing, Manufacture of Engineering Development Models (EDMs) & Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP) Units, and Program Management, inclusive of Program & Engineering Reviews. The Navy intends to solicit and negotiate this contract on a 100% small business set-aside IAW FAR 6.1. Delivery is required FOB Destination. The anticipated contract is planned to be a firm fixed price (FFP) effort with a CLIN line for the development effort and a CLIN for the LPIP units. Contractors must be properly registered in the System for Award Management (SAM).
