Description
The Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC) intends to pursue a sole-source contract with Americare, LLC (SDVOSB), of Norcross, GA, for twenty-one (21) BBS Revolution Bladder Scanner Systems (Brand Name). The Tomah VA Hospital has recently acquired two (2) of these systems and is seeking standardization of equipment. The current bladder scanners in use are old, no longer fully supported by the previous vendor, and don t have a key salient characteristic that the BBS Revolution features. It uses a wireless wand for use in testing patients, the results of which are more accurate and more easily obtained with the BBS Revolution. This notice of Intent is not a request for quotes. No solicitation documents are available and telephone requests will not be honored. However, if a firm believes it can meet the requirements it must furnish information (to include an authorized distributor letter) to the Contracting Officer by 1:00 PM (CST) 9/23/2019. This procurement is for new OEM medical equipment. A No-remanufactures or gray market items will be acceptable. Vendor shall be an OEM, authorized dealer, authorized distributor or authorized reseller for the proposed medical equipment, verified by an authorization letter or other documents from the OEM, such that the OEM s warranty and service are provided and maintained by the OEM. All software licensing, warranty and service associated with the medical equipment shall be in accordance with the OEM terms and conditions. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the Contracting Officer will proceed with the sole source award with Americare, LLC, of Norcross, GA.
