- REQUIRED FOR AWARD SOLE SOURCE JUSTIFICATION Description: The UNITED STATES COAST GUARD, BASE ALAMEDA, 1 Eagle Road, Building 42, Alameda, CA 94501 anticipates awarding sole source procurement to MENDOCINO SPORT CLUB for the following service: 1. GYM MEMBERSHIP PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: 10/1/2019 TO 09/30/2020 MENDOCINO SPORT CLUB is the only company within 50 miles able to provide gym membership service for 34 members to fulfill wellbeing requirements for CG This procurement will be made on behalf of the USCG STATION NOYO RIVER Vendor will provide all services listed above. NAICS Code # 713940 applies to this procurement. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. No solicitation will be issued, however all responses received on/before 0800PST 09/30/2019 will be reviewed by the Government. A determination not to compete this proposed contract based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All questions concerning this notice must be submitted in writing the Contracting Officer, email address is: Stacy.A.Garcia@uscg.mil. The solicitation is restricted to: MENDOCINO SPORT CLUB Offers from concerns other than the above are not solicited. If no affirmative responses are received by the date specified above to determine whether a qualified source is more advantageous to the Government, a purchase order will be negotiated and awarded to MENDOCINO SPORT CLUB.
