CO FLAP DEN56(1) Access Connections to ROAR - Plans Final Hydraulics Report Geotechnical and Pavement Design Report 6982AF19B000013 THIS IS AN INVITATION FOR BID The CO FLAP DEN 56(1) Access Connections to ROAR project is located in Adams County, Colorado, in the Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge. The project is a series of trails, pedestrian bridges and parking lots within the Refuge. The general scope of improvements is construction of approximately 8.03 miles of a new multi-use trail described as follows: Approx. 7.73 miles of new crusher fines trail Approx. 1105 feet of trail widening Four prefabricated bridges (approx. 140 feet in length total) Four paved parking areas with associated access road connections Construction work includes linear grading, aggregate base, asphalt concrete pavement, drainage culvert installation, bridgework, pavement markings, wooden fencing, utility relocation, traffic signal and signs. Significant quantities include: Schedule A: 20101-0000 Clearing and Grubbing: 3 ACRE 20420-0000 Embankment Construction: 3,000 CUYD 30201-2000 Roadway Aggregate, Method 2: 2000 CUYD 30202-2000 Roadway Aggregate, Method 2 (Crusher Fines) 28,000 SQYD 40301-0100 Asphalt Concrete Pavement: 750 TON 55101-1900 Steel H-Piles, 14X89, In Place: 640 LNFT 55201-0200 Structural Concrete, Class A (AE): 116 CUYD 55401-2000 Reinforcing Steel, Epoxy Coated: 18,900 LB 55504-0000 Pre-Fabricated Steel Bridge (Sand Creek Lateral): LPSM 55504-0000 Pre-Fabricated Steel Bridge (Uvalda Ditch): LPSM 55504-0000 Pre-Fabricated Steel Bridge (North High Line Canal): LPSM 55504-0000 Pre-Fabricated Steel Bridge (South High Line Canal): LPSM 61501-0100 Sidewalk, Concrete: 3,150 SQYD Anticipated Schedule Award: November 20, 2019 Construction: March, 2020 – August, 2020 Funding The anticipated cost range is between $3 million and $4 million.
