Description

Statement of Work Justification for Other than Full and Open Competition The UNITED STATES COAST GUARD, BASE ALAMEDA, 1 Eagle Road, Building 42, Alameda, CA 94501 anticipates awarding sole source procurement to ADDITIONAL TECHNOLOGY SECURITY INC. for the following service: 1. Fire & Intrusion Alarm Monitoring Services ADDITIONAL TECHNOLOGY SECURITY INC. is the current service provider for this requirement, interruption of services due to uninstalling and starting new services with another company is not in the best interest of the Government due to lapse of monitoring services. Additionally it would not be cost effective and would render current equipment obsolete. Further information can be found in the attached statement of work and Sole Source Justification Memo. This procurement will be made on behalf of the USCG BASE ALAMEDA. Vendor will provide all services listed above. NAICS Code # 561621 applies to this procurement. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. No solicitation will be issued, however all responses received on/before 0800PST 09/30/2019 will be reviewed by the Government. A determination not to compete this proposed contract based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All questions concerning this notice must be submitted in writing the Contracting Officer, email address is: Pablo.J.Rosa-Perez@uscg.mil. The solicitation is restricted to: ADDITIONAL TECHNOLOGY SECURITY INC. Offers from concerns other than the above are not solicited. If no affirmative responses are received by the date specified above to determine whether a qualified source is more advantageous to the Government, a purchase order will be negotiated and awarded to ADDITIONAL TECHNOLOGY SECURITY INC.
