Description

Sole Source The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) intends to negotiate the award of a firm fixed price award on a sole source basis with Massachusetts Turnpike Authority to continue EZ Pass usuage for DEA Employees utilizing Official Governement vehicles with a period of performance starting October 1, 2019- September 30,2020. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. In accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(c) the justification is attached with this notice. The acquisition will be conducted through FAR Part 12 "Commercial Items". The Government anticipates the award of a new contract on or before October 1,2019. In accordance with FAR 5.207(c)(16)(ii), vendors that understand and can meet the Government's requirements detailed in the sole source document may submit a written response with sufficient relevant details to demostrate existing capabilities. This submission shall be considered by the agency. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. All responses to this notice must be submitted electronically to luz.rosario@usdoj.gov no later than September 25, 2019 at 9:00am EST.
