- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR Part 13 and the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will NOT be issued. The solicitation number for this procurement is M67854-19-Q-0516 and is a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2019-05, and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement Change Notice (DPN) 20190820. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. This requirement is being solicited on an unrestricted basis, and the resulting purchase order will be firm fixed price. The Marine Corps Systems Command (MARCORSYSCOM) (Quantico, VA) requests written quotations from qualified sources capable of providing 222 units of the July 2019 soft cover version of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) combo sets. These current editions are needed in order for contracting and legal personnel to procure goods and services pursuant to the regulations codified in these reference books. All quotes shall clearly state the ability to deliver all 222 combo sets within 10 business days of award. All quotes shall include a completed copy of FAR 52.212-3 and its ALT I. QUOTATION EVALUATION AND BASIS FOR AWARD: One purchase order will be awarded using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13. The Government will award the purchase order to the responsible offeror with the lowest priced technically acceptable quote that conforms to the requirements. - Technically Acceptable: The quote meets the requirement for 222 units of the July 2019 soft cover version of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) combo sets delivered within 10 business days of purchase order award. -Technically Unacceptable: The quote does not meet the requirement for 222 units of the July 2019 soft cover version of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) combo sets delivered within 10 business days of purchase order award. ******* End of Combined Synopsis/Solicitation ********
