- Description
- This is a pre-solicitation notice for Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape (SERE) Training Support Services. This requirement is for SERE instructors to augment military instructors. The contractor will conduct, support, and supplement SERE training at Fairchild AFB, WA, Lackland AFB, TX, and the Survival School remote training sites in accordance with an approved, pre-existing, Air Force syllabus in support of all aspects of SERE academics, laboratories and field operations. This acquisition will be solicited via Request For Proposal (RFP). The source selection is to be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 15. A single firm, fixed-price Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract will result from this solicitation. The estimated RFP issue date is 10 Oct 2019, and the estimated response date is 12 Nov 2019. This will be an electronic solicitation release. Solicitation, amendments and other miscellaneous documents will be posted to FedBizOpps (http://www.fbo.gov). It is the responsibility of each offeror to review the website for notice of amendments, updates or changes to the RFP. The government anticipates awarding a 6-year contract, which includes a 4-year basic ordering period (1 month for mobilization) and one 2-year option ordering period. This acquisition is set-aside for service disabled, veteran owned small business (SDVOSB) firms. To be eligible for award as an SDVOSB, a firm is required to represent its size and socioeconomic status at the time of initial offer and at the time of contract award under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 611519 - Other Technical and Trade Schools - in the System for Award Management at https://www.sam.gov. NAICS code 611519 includes specialized military training (except flight instruction, academies and apprenticeship training). The small business size standard is $15 million.
