Description

Under Statutory Authority 41 U.S.C. 1901 Simplified Acquisition Procedures, the VA Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with RAS Enterprises, LLC to provide Waste and Recycle Disposal Services for the Edward J Hines Jr. VA Hospital and the Joliet CBOC. This acquisition is conducted under the authority of FAR 6.302.5 Authorized or Required by Statute, specifically a Vets First sole source action. The statutes which authorize this sole source procurement are Public Law 109-461 Sec. 502, 38 U.S.C. sect. 8127, and VAAR 819.7007. This will be a firm fixed price contract for a one-year period. The NAICS Code is 562111. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation documents are available and telephone requests will not be honored. The GLAC will proceed with a sole source award to RAS Enterprises, LLC.
