Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to solicit and negotiate a Sole Source, Firm-Fixed-Price Purchase Order with one Small Business (SB) source, Fire Systems West, Inc. The procurement is for fire alarm, fire suppression alarm systems, and drop-down fire door testing, inspection, and certification services. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 561621. Fire Systems West, Inc. is the only vendor in the region that is certified and listed as a qualified Independent Contractor. Only Fire Systems West meets the certification requirements for the system. The anticipated date of award is 10/01/2019. This requirement is for: Department of Veterans Affairs Spokane VA Medical Center 4815 N. Assembly Street Spokane, WA 99205 This notice satisfies the requirement at FAR 5.201(b)(1), to publicize the proposed contract action. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation will be made available. Any responses received will only be considered for the purposes of determining the market place for future procurements. The Government will not pay for information submitted. This will be the only notice of the Government's intent to solicit, negotiate, and award to one source to satisfy this requirement.
