- This Sources Sought Notice is for information and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or obligation or commitment by the Government. Market research is conducted to determine the availability and capability of qualified businesses for the following service: Furnish all labor, tools, equipment, transportation, materials, management, and other construction requirements to perform asphaltic concrete paving and related works at various military reservations on the island of Oahu, Hawaii. Hours of operation is 7:30am – 4:00pm, Monday through Friday excluding Federal Holidays. The anticipated start date is 15 APR 2020. The Government is anticipating a firm fixed price requirement type construction contract, base plus 2 option periods. NAICS Code: 237310, Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction. Business size standard: $36.5M. The magnitude of construction is over $10,000,000.00. Task order are anticipated to range from $10,000.00 - $1,500,000.00. Interested vendors shall submit a capability statement to include: 1) Company’s Name and Address; 2) Point of Contact Name, Phone Number, Email; 3) Cage Code; 4 Duns Number; 5) Type of Business (large, small, 8(a), woman owned, etc.); 6) Experience: Submit 3-5 recent specific Government or commercial contracts your firm has self-performed to demonstrate your relevant NAICS 237310 experience as indicated in this announcement; 7) Maximum bonding capacity per project and aggregate bonding capacity. The capability statement should not exceed 2 pages and shall be in sufficient details to allow the Government to determine the organization’s qualifications to perform the work.
