Description

The VA Medical Center in Providence, RI has a requirement for proprietary neural signal processing equipment. This equipment is for a highly complex, long-term research endeavor that has been on-going for at least 5 years. Blackrock Microsystems, LLC has been supplying the items required and due to the proprietary nature of these items, a valid sole-source justification exists. VA will negotiate and award a 5-year Blanket Ordering Agreement to this vendor. This is not a solicitation; it is a notice of intent to sole-source announcement advising Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) or Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB). Any SDVOSB or VOSB responding to this announcement shall be compliant with the following: In order to be considered under the VA Rule of Two under 38 U.S.C. 8127(d), SDVOSB and VOSB firms must meet the eligibility requirements in 38 U.S.C. 8127(e), (f) and VAAR 819.7003 and be listed as verified in the Vendor Information Pages (VIP) database at https://www.vip.vetbiz.va.gov/. Inquiries/information received after the established deadline shall not be considered.   The Government does not intend to pay for information solicited.   All communications shall be via email; no telephone calls will be accepted.
