***** This is a REQUEST FOR INTEREST ONLY! This request does not constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. The intent of this request is to identify potential offerors for market research purposes only. ***** Request for Information (RFI) Savannah River Nuclear Solutions, LLC (SRNS), which manages and operates portions of the Savannah River Site (SRS) under a Department of Energy (DOE) prime contract, is searching for parties interested in purchase and removal of Electrical Cable located at the Savannah River Site (SRS) in Aiken, South Carolina. The following data represents the items which will be sold to the subcontractor: There is approximately 6 million linear feet of various AWG cable ranging from 4/0 to 20 AWG in size and from 1 to 50 conductors. Various manufacturers of insulated and non­insulated wire, solid and stranded wire, bare copper and aluminum wire, instrumentation and machine wire, power and control wire. The cable is stored on reels ranging in size from large wooden reels to smaller plastic reels for smaller AWG machine tool wire. This list is not all-inclusive. Note: The cable/wire will be sold by the foot based on size and type. The Purchaser is responsible for obtaining and maintaining all required federal, state, municipal, and international certifications, licenses, permits, registrations and approvals that may be required to perform the subcontract. All material is sold to the Purchaser on an "As-ls, Where Is" basis. Purchaser will not be allowed to selectively pick/screen material and leave residual material. SRNS makes no guarantees, either expressed or implied, relating to the functionality or operability of the surplus property. The Purchaser hereby agrees to indemnify and hold harmless SRNS and the Government against all claims that may possibly result from the future operation of purchased cable. The SRS is located approximately 15 miles south of Aiken, South Carolina and is 310 contiguous square miles. A supplier's response to this RFI does not guarantee they will be selected to participate in the Request for Proposal (RFP). Interested suppliers responding to this RFI should provide their capabilities statement if interested in receiving the RFP.
