The Government proposes to acquire, on a 5 year Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery Requirement (IDR) type contract, a quantity of 5 each (minimum) up to 50 each (maximum) of Stand Maintenance Eng 714A, NSN: 4920-01-524-5353, Part Number: LTCT31752-1 in support of the BL CHINOOK TURBINE ENGINE (T55) weapon system The estimated Production Lead Time (PLT) without First Article Testing is 183 Days After Contract Award (DACA) and with deliveries to Texarkana, TX 75007-5000. This item is restricted to: Honeywell International Inc., CAGE: 06848 (SOLICIT 02LU7) This item has an AMRC Code of 3D, which requires this part to be acquired, for the second or subsequent time, directly from the actual manufacturer. The data needed to acquire this part competitively is not physically available, it cannot be obtained economically, nor is it possible to draft adequate specifications or any other adequate, economical description of the material for a competitive solicitation. AMCS 3, 4, or 5 are valid. As a result, this acquisition is currently being procured under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(2) having only a limited number of responsible sources. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website: https://amcomdmz.redstone.army.mil/casl_cmo/casldba.casl_cmo _ samsar and looking under Standardized Aviation and Missile Source Approval Request (SAMSAR). The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above.
