Description
This is a Sources Sought notice. This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement. Purpose and Objectives: Your responses to the information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. NAICS code: 561621 NOTE: Respondent claiming SDVOSB and VOSB status must be registered and CVE verified in VetBiz Registry www.vetbiz.gov. Project requirements: To provide testing, inspection and maintenance for the fire alarm systems at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Mountain Home, TN 37684. The contractor shall maintain qualified personnel, supervision, and equipment to accomplish work on schedule, and to the satisfaction of the Contracting Officer, as specified under this contract. Employees and supervisors shall be capable and experienced in performing fire alarm maintenance, tests, and inspections as specified in the contract. The servicing contractor shall be certified by the State of Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insured as an Alarm Systems Contractor. Additionally, all service personnel of the contractor must have been certified as an Alarm System Technician under the State of Tennessee License. The contractor shall provide evidence of State of Tennessee Board for Licensing Contractors for Contractors and Alarm Systems Contractors Board. The contractor s employees performing the work shall be certified by the National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies, NICET in Fire Alarm Systems and Inspection and Testing of Fire Alarm Systems and shall provide evidence of certification. The fire alarm panels on the Mountain Home s campus are Simplex Fire Alarm Panels. The contractor shall have certification and formal training from Simplex for Simplex 4010, 4010ES, 4100ES, 4100U, 4100+ and Network systems. Evidence of all required licenses, as well as documentation of the qualifications of personnel, shall be provided with your response. The contractor shall respond to service requests with a phone call within 1 hour of the service request and arrive on-site within 24 hours of the service request. Anticipated period of performance: 20 October 2019 through 19 October 2020. Information sought: Response to this announcement shall not exceed 10 pages and should include the following information: (1) A tailored capability statement indicating the firm s ability to provide a product and related services; (2) The respondents DUNS number, organization name, address, point of contact, and size and type of business (e.g., SDVOSB/VOSB, etc,) pursuant to the applicable NAICS code; (3) Information should be provided electronically in a Microsoft Word or Adobe PDF format.
