- Page 2 of 2 The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 15 intends to award a sole source contract under the authority of 41 U.S.C 253(c) (1) FAR 13.106 1 (b)(i) Only one source is capable of providing the supplies or services required at the level of quality required because the supplies or services are unique or highly specialized, to Medivators, Inc., 14605 28thAve. N, Minneapolis, MN 55447-4822. Medivators, Inc. will furnish all necessary labor, equipment, tools, materials, parts, repair services, and preventive maintenance of the Medivators Advantage Plus Endoscope Reprocessing Systems. The place of performance is for the Department of Veterans Affairs, St. Louis VA Healthcare System; the John Cochran Division is located at 915 North Grand Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63106. The NAICS code for these items is 811219 (Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance). This action will result in a Firm-Fixed Price contract for a base year plus four (4) option years. This notice of intent is not a request for quotations; interested parties may express their interest by providing a capabilities statement NLT October 10, 2019 at 12:00 PM CST. The capabilities statement must provide clear and unambiguous evidence to substantiate the capability of the party to provide the required services. A determination not to compete this proposed contract upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. When responding to this announcement, respondents should refer to Announcement 36C25520Q0006 Notice of Intent. If after October 10, 2019 if no viable responses have been received in response to this announcement, Department of Veterans Affairs shall negotiate solely with Medivators, Inc. This notice of intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive quotes. There will be no solicitation available for competitive quotes. Phone calls will not be accepted.
