THIS SOURCES SOUGHT/REQUEST FOR INFORMATION IS ISSUED FOR INFORMATION AND PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY AND IS NOT CONSIDERED A SOLICITATION. The purpose of this sources sought/RFI is to gain knowledge of potential businesses for the rental of the following: Rental of the mobile unit (pharmacy cleanroom) 53 FT. Monthly Rental of Mobile Pharmacy Cleanroom Trailer: 10 month minimum, fully integrated Pharmacy Trailer Includes: (1) Negative Pressure Room containing: (2) BSC Class II Type A2 Chemo hoods (externally ducted) (1) upright refrigerator (1) HEPA purging passthrough (pass box for passage of materials from the main entry into the negative pressure suite) ample stainless-steel casework and storage. (1) Positive Pressure Room containing (2) Vertical Laminar Flow Workstations (1) upright refrigerator, (1) HEPA purging pass box for passage of materials from the main entry into the positive pressure suite ample stainless-steel casework and storage. mobile unit to maintain a sterile environment as directed by USP USP and VHA 1108.12. More specifically- According to VHA directive 1108.12 the pharmacy department must adhere to USP, USP and USP standards for sterile compounding (and oral medications via USP 795).   The item listed above will be utilized at the VA Medical Center located in Jamaica Plain, MA. Responses to this sources sought will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to this sources sought, a solicitation announcement may be published. Responses to this sources sought synopsis are not considered adequate responses for a solicitation announcement. Responses to this sources sought/RFI are due by 10 October 2019 at 9:00 am EST time. Responses to this notice shall be submitted via email to Jeffrey.fleming@va.gov. Telephone responses shall not be accepted. If a solicitation is issued it shall be announced at a later date, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this request for information. Responses to this notice are not a request to be added to a prospective bidders list or to receive a copy of the solicitation.
