- Draft Pre-Solicitation for the Western Currency Facility Tour & Visitor Center Draft Performance Work Statement The purpose of this notice is to advise the vendor community of the release of a Draft Solicitation. The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP), Washington, D.C. intends to issue a solicitation for a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract for the provision of operational services for the Tour and Visitor Center located at the Western Currency Facility (WCF) in Fort. Worth, Texas. This acquisition will have a period of performance of one (1) base year and four (4) one-year options. The solicitation will be issued on or about October 23, 2019 via the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website at http://www.fbo.gov. The solicitation number will be announced as an amendment to this draft solicitation prior to the closing date, hard copies of the solicitation will not be issued. It is incumbent upon contractors to monitor FedBizOpps for the solicitation release and all subsequent amendments. This solicitation will be issued as a competitive small business set-aside. The North American Industrial Classification Code (NAICS) is 561520 and the size standard is $20.5 million. However, a second NAICS Code of 541611 will be included in the body of the solicitation. Offerors must meet the standard of one of these NAICS codes in order to be eligible for award. The Performance Work Statement (PWS) will be included as a separate attachment to the solicitation. All small business certified companies are invited to submit proposals which will be considered by BEP. All technical data required to respond to the solicitation will be furnished as part of the solicitation. A site visit will be held for this requirement on or about November 6, 2019 at 9:00AM CT at BEP WCF. All interested offerors are encouraged to attend (no more than 2 per vendor) and confirm attendance via email on October 31, 2019 by 12:00PM ET. The solicitation will include oral presentations as an evaluation factor. Oral presentations will be conducted at the Western Currency Facility or via video conference. The solicitation shall provide offerors with sufficient information to prepare oral presentations. Accordingly, the solicitation may describe - 1. The types of information to be presented orally and the associated evaluation factors that will be used. 2. The qualifications for personnel that will be required to provide the oral presentation(s). 3. The requirements for, and any limitations: or other prohibitions on, the use of written material or other media to supplement the oral presentations. 4. The location, date, and time for the oral presentations; 5. The restrictions governing the time permitted for each oral presentation, and 6. The scope and content of exchanges that may occur between the Government's partipants and the offeror's representative s as part of the oral presentations, including whether or not discussions will be permitted during oral presentations. The Government advises that respondents will not receive compensation any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFP; all costs associated with responding to this RFP will be solely at the interested party's expense.
