Description

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Central Service Area is conducting market research to identify capable sources. Responses to this market survey will be utilized to develop the Source List to be used when the solicitation for this requirement is issued. This survey is being conducted in accordance with FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS) Section 3.2.1.2.1. All interested vendors are advised that the FAA will not pay for any information or any administrative costs incurred that are associated with any response received from industry to this market survey. Therefore, any costs associated with the vendor ™s market survey submissions will be solely at the interested vendor ™s expense. RESPONSE TO THIS SURVEY: Any information provided in response to this market survey will be used for informational purposes only and will not be released. Any proprietary information submitted will be protected if appropriately marked. Vendor participation in any informational session is not a promise of future business with the FAA. The FAA is seeking competent and qualified small businesses interested in providing offers for this project. 1. This project is a Total Set-Aside for Small Business. 2. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 561210, Facilities Support Services. Small Business Size Standard is $38.5 million. 3. The total estimated offer range for this project is $1,300,000.00 - $1,750,000.00 for a one year base period and 4 one year options (total = 5 years). 4. This requirement will consolidate janitorial services for multiple facilities throughout Ohio and Michigan, and includes the following locations: Lansing ATCT (LAN), 4100 Capital City Boulevard, Lansing, MI 48906 Pontiac ATCT (PTK), 6510 Highland Road, Waterford, MI 48327 Freeland ATCT (MBS), 8570 West Freeland Road, Freeland, MI 48623 Coleman A. Young ATCT (DET), 11501 Conner Street, Detroit,MI 48213 Ann Arbor ATCT (ARB), 875 Airport Drive A, Ann Arbor, MI 48108 Akron-Canton ATCT (CAK), 5400 Lauby Road, North Canton, OH 44720 Cuyahoga County ATCT (CGF), 5375 Avion Park Drive, Cleveland, OH 44143 Toledo ATCT (TOL), 11013 Airport Highway, Swanton, OH 43558 Muskegon ATCT (MKG), 113 Sinclair Drive, Muskegon, MI 49441 5. Optional site visits can be arranged. The date, time, location, and point of contact will be provided with the solicitation package. The contractor is to provide all personnel, supervision, materials, equipment, tools, supplies, and any other items necessary to perform the required janitorial services in accordance with the facility ™s statement of work, local, state and Federal codes and laws. Scope of Required Work will consist of, but is not limited to: 1. Sweeping 2. Mopping 3. Waxing 4. Scrubbing 5. Vacuuming 6. Washing Windows 7. Dusting AN OFFEROR MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING GO/NO-GO CRITERIA IN ORDER TO RECEIVE A SOLICITATION PACKAGE: Offerors must have the following minimum experience and provide the following information to substantiate the experience: a. Specialized Experience Document (attached) must be provided on at least three (3) past or current contracts/projects on which your firm performed facilities support services in the same size (greater than or equal to $1,300,000.00), and similar scope of this requirement. Successful Past Performance at Good to Excellent rating will be required for each of the projects. Contracts/projects must be either in process or within the last three (3) years. Similar work had to have been performed at FAA Centers, Towers, or other life-critical facilities. The Specialized Experience attachment must contain the contracting agency, (FAA, other Federal, State, and local governments). You must provide the contract number or project identifier, which includes a current point of contact, email address, and phone number. The information provided will also be used as part of the responsibility determination. b. Contractors must have an active registration in System for Award Management (SAM) that reflects the principle NAICS 561210, Facilities Support Services, size standard $38.5, with no exclusions or delinquent federal debt. Contractors can register at www.sam.gov. FAILURE TO SUBMIT ALL REQUIRED INFORMATION WILL DEEM THE REQUEST FOR SOLICITATION NON-RESPONSIVE.
