Description
Sources Sought Synopsis with Contractor Capability Survey Sources Sought Synopsis (SSS) Turbine Engine Monitor System (TEMS) Improved Electronic Processor Unit (IEPU) Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) P/N 091060-301 PURPOSE/DESCRIPTION The Government is conducting market research to identify potential sources that possess the repair data, expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet qualification requirements to repair the TEMS Unit CCA P/N 091060-301 without having to reverse engineer this item. This organization does not have authorization to change the Engineering design of this item or repair new alternative system of the TEMS This is a repair acquisition. Our acquisition strategy is a one-time contract. The projected repair quantities will be 84 assets. Turbine Engine Monitor System The IEPU includes two monitoring functions that provide data critical to the sustainment of the weapon system: the Flight Loads Data Recorder/Individual Aircraft Tracking Program (FLDR/IATP) and the Turbine Engine Monitoring System (TEMS). The FLDR/IATP is a combined monitoring and record-keeping system for aircraft usage and structural loads to support the Aircraft Structural Integrity Program (ASIP); the combined functions are commonly referred to as the Airborne Data Recorder (ADR). The TEMS monitors engine performance parameters, stores event and trend data to support management of the TF34-100A engine. Improved Electronic Process Unit The Improved Electronic Processor Unit (IEPU) (PN 200222868-10) is mounted A-10 aircraft and provides structural data in addition to the EPU monitoring functions. The IEPU is similar to the 9058027-10 model, except for the deletion of the battery modules and three circuit cards, and the replacement of the processor card and the addition of a MIL-STD-1553 BUS interface. Circuit Card Assembly The CCA is a printed wiring carrier board harness assembly with two electrical connector plug-in receptacles, eleven CCA receptacles and a Reference Junction Assembly. See attached Sources Sought Synopsis with Contractor Capability Survey for additional information.
