- Mechanical Work: The contractor shall provide a vacuum truck, support vehicle, vacuum straight truck, and hook truck with sealed vacuum container and (4) four confined space trained technicians to pump out the remaining 23,000 gallons of sludge and transfer it to the WWTP head works. The contractor shall vacuum out the rags/grit and transfer that material to the WWTP head works as well. If the grit and rags is too excessive preventing the contractor from transferring on site, the contractor will put the material into the sealed vacuum roll-off container for off-site disposal at approved facility. Note: No rags to be dumped back into the system. Plumbing Work: The contractor shall furnish and Install (20) twenty each - Sanitare D-24 304 Stainless Steel coarse bubble diffusers. (or approved equel) If all diffusers do not need to be replaced, the remainder will be turned over to the WWTP for spares parts. The contractor shall repair all damaged air piping and weld areas as needed. The contractor shall furnish and install the needed Dixon Cam-lock adapters for the Vac Truck hose connection to the digester for pump out. General Work: The contractor shall be responsible for all materials, equipment, labor and rentals necessary for completion of their work. The contractor shall install all equipment and materials while the plant is on-line with minimal interruption to the plant process.
