- Repair Primary Settling Tank Leaking Weirs bldg. 659H The contractor shall replace (4) four sets of (4) four launders on the wastewater plants north and south primary settling tanks. •· Coordinate lock out and tag out with plant operator (as needed). •· Follow all safety procedures for entry into the tank. •· Provide pre-manufacture measurements and coordination of site conditions. •· Supply engineering submittal package for PWB review and approval. •· Coordinate lock-out and tag-out requirements with wastewater plant. •· Note: wash down work area, dewatering and isolation of each primary tank will be performed by the government. •· Contractor shall work on one set of four launders per each primary tank at a time. This will require 4 separate mobilization/demobilizations. •· Furnish new primary settling tanks launders, weirs and supports (manufacturer will be NEFCO or Warminster or approved equal) •· Install new launders and weirs, leveling the weirs to match existing weir setting. •· Water level test each set of launders per manufacturer's recommendations. Repair Secondary Containment & Install Grating for Chemical Day Tanks bldg. 660 The contractor shall perform the following •· Coordinate lock out and tag out with plant operator (as needed). •· Patch multiple floor penetrations at demolished pipe locations. •· Patch multiple locations on existing concrete containment wall. •· Perform surface preparation/cleaning of secondary containment area. •· Sweep/vacuum chemical containment area. •· Pressure wash all surfaces to be treated/coated. •· Apply ENECON ENCRETE WP (or approved equel) to stop any active leaks between cinder block walls and concrete floor located in containment area. •· Apply ENECON ENECRETE WS (or approved equel) to the cinder block wall and floor seam as needed to further hydrostatic pressure remediation located in containment area. •· Apply ENECON ENECRETE Dura-Quartz (or approved equel) as needed to repair damaged concrete located in containment area. •· Apply two treatments of ENECON CHEMCLAD SC (or approved equel) to all areas within the containment and 18" up cinderblock walls within containment area.
