Description

Page 1 of 1 The Department of Veterans Affairs, Kansas City VA Health Care System, intends to negotiate on a sole source basis, pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, with Transonic for the ADV500 Pressure-Volume System. This PV system is the only system that has parallel conductance is calculated as a dynamic value in real-time, the signal coming out of the control unit is a TRUE ventricular volume signal and requires no post-processing, a phase angle (an index of myocardial capacitance) is reported, which provides feedback as to catheter position within the ventricle, and improved conductance-to-volume conversion equation (Wei s Equation). This is a notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement may submit a capability statement to the contracting office no later than Friday, October 11th, 12:00, EST. Interest/capability statements may be sent to Lynn Portman at lynn.portman@va.gov. No telephone responses will be accepted. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
