- The U.S. Contracting Command (ACC-WRN), on behalf of Sierra Army Depot (SIAD) requires a professional contractor to chip and haul excess wood waste at SIAD 74 C Street Herlong, CA 96113. The capacity could range from 500 tons not exceed 5,000 tons; average tonnage approximately 1,500 tons. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment and professional supervision necessary to chip, load, and transport excess waste wood from SIAD landfill. Contractor is responsible for coordinating chipping and disposal of all waste wood. The solicitation will be issued on a 100% Small Business Set-Aside basis and will result in a Firm-Fixed-Price contract. Contractors should not contact the Buyer seeking the solicitation, as it will not be available until approximately 6 days after issuance of this notice. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of the information contained in this posting or information received as a result of this posting. The contents of any future formal Request for Proposal (RFP) takes precedence over anything contained herein. Caution: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidder's mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the website in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for receipt of proposals may render your proposal nonresponsive and result in rejection of same.
