- GSA is issuing a SOURCES SOUGHT for the following United States Bankruptcy Court ("USBC") interior office renovation project at the Federal Building and U.S. Courthouse located at 500 S. Barstow Street, Eau Claire, Wisconsin 54701, to determine the interest, availability, and capability of Small, Service Disabled Veteran Owned, 8(a), HUBZone, and Woman Owned Small Business concerns. The NAICS code for this procurement is 236220. The estimated construction cost is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The project includes, but is not limited to: • Phased renovation of an existing space on the 1st and 2nd floors. • Mechanical and Lighting Demolition. • HVAC Systems modifications for the renovated area including supplemental cooling for the AV closet. • Relocation of existing lights. • Relocation of AV equipment and servers from 1st floor to 2nd floor. • New 2'x2' suspended ceiling system. • New painted drywall partitions. • New doors, frames and hardware. • New electrical power and communications infrastructure. • Fire Protection and Fire Alarm System modifications. • Millwork intake counter. • Millwork must be installed per Architectural Woodwork Institute (AWI) Architectural Woodwork Standards. • Signage. • Jury box modifications. • New Law Clerk and Deputy Workstations in Courtroom • New Carpet throughout courtroom. • New low profile raised access floor shall be provided for Courtroom well area. • Acoustical Panels in Courtroom. • AV infrastructure for courtroom. • Valve replacement to isolate the 3rd floor of the heating hot water system. It is anticipated the Request for Proposal (RFP) will be posted to Federal Business Opportunities (www.fbo.gov) in November. The full extent of the work will be described in the solicitation when it is posted. No other information will be available before the solicitation is posted. This is a SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT for planning purposes only. Market research is being conducted to determine if there are Service Disabled Veteran Owned, 8(a), HUBZone, or Woman Owned Small Businesses with the capabilities and experience to perform the required work. All interested parties should submit a capabilities package to include business classification (i.e. SDVOSB, HUBZone, etc.), as well as examples of three projects completed within the last five years that included a scope of work similar to the specifications listed above (including millwork installed/repaired pursuant to AWI standards), included phased work in an occupied space, with project sites located within 200 miles of Eau Claire County, and that had a total project cost in the same range estimated for this project.
