Description
The U.S. Census Bureau intends to procure lodging in the Washington Metropolitan Area. Lodging is required for 20 participants for the 2020 Campaign Media Plan Briefing - December 17-18, 2019: • Monday, December 16, 2019 - 20 sleeping rooms on Government Purchase Order • Tuesday, December 17, 2019 - 20 sleeping rooms on Government Purchase Order • Wednesday, December 18, 2019 - 5 sleeping rooms on Government Purchase Order Note: Rooms/Audio Visual (AV)/Refreshments paid by Government Purchase Order The hotel accommodations requirements: • Full Service Restaurant • In a central location with surrounding restaurants • Onsite or nearby parking • Within one block of the Metro Station • No major construction at the hotel (if construction in surrounding area, please advise) Hotel must also offer meeting space that holds 50 people, AV service to include: screen, projector, podium 4 microphones and 2 handheld microphones. Lite Refreshments to include: AM-coffee, tea, water decanter; AM-Refresh - coffee and tea; PM-snacks (cookie, brownie, bag variety chips/pretzels and sodas. The U.S. Census Bureau reserves the right to conduct an on-site inspection of offered facilities. Award will be made on a best value basis in accordance with the Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Lodging rate must be at FedRooms rate, equal to or less than Government per diem rate. Interested vendors that hold an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM.gov) that can meet the requirements and provide rooms as listed above may respond to this solicitation by submitting cost and technical proposal and descriptive literature to Pamela Miller via email to Pamela.a.miller@census.gov. Please include Solicitation #COM-20-0008 in all correspondence. Questions may also be sent to email address as stated by Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at 4pm Eastern Time. An amendment to the solicitation will be posted with questions and answers. Full vendor name, DUNS# and Cage Code must be included in Proposal Submission. Award will be made by Government Purchase Order for rooms, AV, and meeting space as stated above.
