- KPLSS II Website: https://procurement.ksc.nasa.gov/kplssii The KPLSS II acquisition will be competed on an unrestricted basis (i.e., full and open competition). Significant subcontracting goals will be established in accordance with Agency regulations and will be published prior to release of the Draft Request for Proposal (DRFP). October 24, 2019 - Industry Day All participants must apply for credentials in order to attend Industry Day. Please complete the Badging Form and e-mail it to the KPLSS II Contracting Officer, Steven Vandercook at steven.h.vandercook@nasa.gov no later than 4:30 p.m. EST. on Thursday, October 17. All participants must be U.S. citizens. Plan to arrive in Florida no later than Wednesday, October 23. Industry day will start in the morning of 10/24 and last a full business day. There will a be lunch break during the day. You may bring snacks and beverages (no alcohol) with you. We will be entering operational areas. Please adhere to the below dress code. Those not dressed appropriately, will not be able to go into any operational facilities. Dress Code: Long pants and low, closed-toed shoes (no skin showing between bottom of pants and shoes) and a shirt with at least a 4-inch sleeve. Additional information on arrival time and location will be e-mailed to all participants closer to the event date. NASA must comply with requirements set forth in the REAL ID Act of 2005 and visitors accessing KSC must have driver's licenses or identifications cards that meet REAL ID standards. Go to the DHS REAL ID Act web site to find the most current information regarding non-compliant states. Other forms of identification utilized for access are not affected, including Federal employee badges, passports, military identification cards, or Enhanced Driver's Licenses. In order for the badging office to process access requests individuals must present two forms of acceptable I-9 documents (one must be a photo ID). Alcohol and weapons are prohibited on NASA property. The following items are considered unauthorized weapons: a. All explosive or incendiary devices. b. All firearms or live ammunition. c. Impact weapons (e.g., blackjacks, batons). d. Electronic control devices (e.g., TASERs®, stun guns). e. Edged weapons (other than common Pocketknives with blades under 4 inches). f. Any chemical sprays designed for use as weapons. October 25, 2019 - Face-to-Face Meetings Information on how to schedule a meeting will be posted on FedBizOpps. You must send an e-mail to the KPLSS II Contracting Officer, Steven Vandercook at steven.h.vandercook@nasa.gov with your preferred time slot and two back-up time slots. Time slots are reserved on a first-come basis. You will be sent an e-mail confirming your meeting time. Meetings will be no more than 45 minutes.
