Description
PROJECT LOCATION: Loess Bluffs National Wildlife Refuge 25542 US-159 Forest City, MO 64451 ESTIMATED MAGNITUDE: The magnitude of this requirement is between $250,000.and $500,000. A firm fixed priced contract is anticipated. To be eligible for award current registration is required in the System for Award Management (SAM). To register go to the SAM website at https://www/sam.gov Registration is free. The solicitation package will be available at https://www.fbo.gov/ on or about November 16, 2019. PROJECT CONSISTS OF: This work includes, but is not limited to providing the following for an approximately 4,700 sf. headquarters and visitor center: project mobilization and demobilization, project management and oversight, and removal of all waste generated during performance of the work. The Base Bid includes, but is not limited to the following items: 1.Demolition of the following: existing siding system, soffits, attic insulation and air barrier, exterior doors and frames, wainscoting, drywall, batt insulation, carpet, acoustical ceiling tiles and grid, lighting, and miscellaneous electrical items. 2.Supply and installation of the following: field painted fibercement board and batten siding system, metal soffit panel system, exterior doors and frames, foam-in-place insulation and ignition barrier, drywall, rubber base, acoustical ceiling tiles and grid, lighting fixtures, miscellaneous electrical items, metal clips, ties, and truss connecting plates for the roof truss system, exterior electric outlet covers with GFCI outlets, exterior light fixtures, frost-proof spigots, restroom exhaust vent ducting, and refinishing an existing storefront. 3.Excavation and backfilling to facilitate installation of foundation damp-proofing, underground roof drain piping, and perforated drain tile. Grading of existing soils and importing fill material as required to provide positive water drainage away from building. Landscaping to include a river rock firebreak, steel edging, topsoil, and seeding.
