Description
General description of the Work - The Contractor shall install one (1) 36,000 BTU fully functional inverter heat-pump mini-split systems. The systems are designed to perform in extreme cold conditions. System shall have one (1) condenser unit and four (4) ceiling mount cassette evaporator coils. Contractor shall complete the installation of equipment, accessories for one complete and functional HVAC system. The contractor shall include manufacturer's warranty. a. New Work: •· Install one (1) complete inverted heat-pump mini-split systems. •· Provide new mini-split heat pump outdoor unit to serve multiple indoor units. Capacity shall be approximately 3 Tons and unit shall serve multiple indoor units. •· Provide four (4) ceiling suspended mini-split indoor ceiling mounted cassette fan coil unit with integral condensate pump and wired remote wall zone controllers for each unit. Run condensate outside to grade. •· Condensate drains shall be 3/4" PVC. Each indoor unit (4 units) shall have an independent drain line system draining to the west side of building. •· Provide refrigerant piping size and insulation per manufactures recommendations. •· Provide refrigerant piping from single inverter heat-pump mini-split outdoor heat pump unit to all indoor mini-split fan coil units as per manufactures specifications. •· Electrical connections shall be feed from Panel B spaces 7 and 9 in front mechanical room of building 1576. •· Provide new 208-230V/1ph power from panel board including breaker, conduit, disconnect, and conductors to mini-split outdoor heat pump unit. Breaker shall be sized per manufactures specifications. •· Provide flexible liquid tight connections to outdoor unit. Four (4) Indoor units shall be provided with flexible connections •· All wire shall be cooper and work shall be in accordance with the latest edition of the National Electric Code. •· Provide power cabling from outdoor to indoor mini-split units as per manufactures recommendations. •· Provide 4" concrete slab on grade for condensing unit. Condenser dimensions will determine slab size.
