Description

PRESOLICITATION NOTICE Sidewalk Remove and Replace Hampton VAMC The Department of Veterans Affairs, 100 Emancipation Drive, Hampton, VA has a requirement for a contractor to provide all labor, material, supplies, equipment, transportation, permits, license and qualified supervision, for the removal and replacement of concrete sidewalks located on McClellan Ave. adjacent to buildings 43 and 50, as well as, on McClellan Ave. adjacent to building 48 to patient parking lot building 110B at the Hampton VA Medical Center. General Scope: The Contractor will provide all transportation, material, hardware, parts, tools, specialized equipment, labor, supervision and technical expertise to remove and replace concrete sidewalk at the Hampton VAMC. Work shall include, but not be limited to: Provide safety barricades around work area and associated signage. Saw cut joints and excavate old sidewalk. Load and haul old concrete sidewalk offsite. Grade, form and pour new concrete sidewalk to match existing. Strip forms and remove remaining construction debris. Backfill, final grade and seed affected area. Cleanup affected area. Estimated construction magnitude is between $100,000 and $250,000. NAICS CODE: 238110 Size Standard: $16.5 Million This solicitation is anticipated to be a Total Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside. Solicitation material will be available on/about November 6, 2019. Any specifications, drawings and amendments will be posted on this web site. Proposals will be due approximately 28 days after issuance of the solicitation. Location and points of contact for site visits will be identified in the solicitation. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for proposals. The Government is not obligated to issue a solicitation as a result of this notice. No other information is available until issuance of the solicitation. No bidders list is maintained. All interested vendors should register on this website.
