Description

Under Statutory Authority 38 U.S.C. 8127(b), the Department of Veteran Affairs, Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC) intends to negotiate a sole source contract for security guard services for the Chicago Vet Center in Chicago, Illinois, with Page Security, Inc., a verified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business. This is a firm-fixed price procurement being conducted in accordance with FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures and the corresponding NAICS Code is 561612. Contract duration is for up to 18 months. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation documents are available and telephone requests will not be honored. However, if a firm believes it can provide the relevant services, it may provide information about its products and services to the Contract Specialist by 4:00 PM local time, October 23, 2019. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Capability statements shall be submitted by email only as a MS Word or Adobe PDF attachment to Mohammad.Yusuf@va.gov. TELEPHONIC INQUIRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
