Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6, Regional Procurement Office (RPO) East, is in the process of planning a requirement for Dosimetry Services in support of various locations to include the Salisbury Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC). The contractor shall provide badges, and dosimetry monitoring services. A personnel dosimeter is an individual monitoring device worn by employees with potential for radiation exposure which requires processing to determine the radiation exposure received. The exposure levels received must comply with title 10 Code of Regulations (CFR) 20.1201, with other applicable provisions of Title 10 Chapter 20, Title 29 CFR 1910.1096 and with conditions specified in the SBYVAMC Radioactive Material permit. Place of Performance: Salisbury VA Medical Center, Charlotte Veteran s Clinic (CVC), Charlotte Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) and Kernersville Health Care Center (HCC). Period of Performance: The anticipated Period of Performance for the resultant contract will be for one (1) base year plus four (4) 12-month option periods. Type of Set-Aside: This acquisition is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The applicable NAICS is 339116, Dental Laboratories, with a size standard of 500 employees. Contract Type: The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Contract. A formal Request for Quote (RFQ) will be issued on or about April 25, 2019 via Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website via https://www.fbo.gov/. All potential quoters are responsible for monitoring and downloading all documents including amendments at the FedBizOpps website without further notification from the Contracting Officer. To be eligible for award, contractors must be registered in the following: SAM database at https://www.sam.gov Veteran Owned Small Businesses must be registered and verified in VetBiz.
