- Center for Program Integrity - Request for Information on Using Advanced Technology in Program Integrity The attached Request for Information (RFI) has been designed by The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services to obtain input on how the agency can better use emerging technologies, such as Artificial Intelligence, to ensure proper claims payment, reduce provider burden, and overall, conduct program integrity activities in a more efficient manner. CMS will use the feedback from responses to this RFI to better align its programmatic initiatives with rapidly advancing technology. Respondents are not required to provide an answer to all questions in the RFI as a condition of CMS' full consideration of your answer(s). Some of the questions, particularly questions 21-26, are targeted toward specific respondents who can provide meaningful input.
