Sources Sought Synopsis - Questionnaire SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS ("Synopsis") / MARKET RESEARCH Protective Coatings at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) at Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM) in Washington State is currently conducting preliminary market research to determine commercial market practices and the existence of viable commercial sources capable of providing Protective Coatings Services for the Directorate of Public Works (DPW). The anticipated period of performance is 1 June 2020 through 31 May 2021 with the possibility of four (4) one-year option periods. Description of Services: The contractor shall provide all plant, labor, tools, equipment, materials, and perform all work in strict accordance with the specifications and plans required. The requirements cover a broad range of protective coating applications and repairs. During the contract period, the Government will identify specific jobs and issue individual task orders to the contractor for job completion. The work will involve interior and exterior protective coating application, surface preparation, and ancillary repair work to substrates and structural components. Ancillary repair work may require various trades that may include carpentry, interior renovations, electrical, plumbing, concrete, masonry, asbestos and lead surveys and abatement, and mold remediation. Protective coating substrates may include: concrete, stucco, wood, plaster and gypsum wallboard, composite materials, masonry, steel, and galvanized and aluminum coated metal. Individual task orders will include all work required to provide a complete and useable finished product. DISCLAIMER: (a) The Government does not intend to award any contract based on this Synopsis.
