- Description
- The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Troop Support Subsistence Directorate intends to solicit for Prime Vendor support for customers in the Missouri, Kansas and Surrounding Areas and other federally funded agencies for various quantities of subsistence items from the 8900 federal catalog or their commercial equivalents. This solicitation will consist of two (2) zones: Zone 1 - Kansas and Surrounding Areas, and Zone 2 - Missouri and Surrounding Areas. The maximum dollar value for this procurement action is $299,250,000.00: The Max for Zone 1 is $54,250,000.00, and the Max for Zone 2 is $245,000,000.00. The Government intends to make a separate award for each zone. The resultant award will be an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Contract for a performance period of up to five (5) years inclusive of two (2) separate pricing tiers. The first tier shall be for a thirty-six (36) month period (inclusive of up to a 120-day implementation period). The second and final tier will be for a twenty-four (24) month performance period directly following the first tier. This is an unrestricted acquisition. Customers will be provided a delivery on a 'Just in time' basis. All responsible sources may submit a proposal for each zone which will be evaluated using Best Value Tradeoff procurement procedures awarded to a Prime Vendor based on that criteria. Offerors must be able to interface with the Government's established translation package and support Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) transactions sets listed in the solicitation. Errors in proposals will not be corrected by DLA personnel. Alternate items will be considered/evaluated. The request for proposal will be posted on DLABSMDibbs website as SPE300-19-R-0046.
