THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT FOR MARKET ANALYSIS ONLY. NO AWARDS WILL BE MADE FROM THE RESPONSES TO THIS NOTICE. NO SOLICITATION IS AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. THE PURPOSE OF THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS TO GAIN KNOWLEDGE OF POTENTIAL QUALIFIED SMALL BUSINESS CONCERNS PROVIDING SERVICES UNDER NAICS 238190. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), New York District is issuing this Sources Sought Notice seeking small business contractors for marine welding and fabrication services at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers New York District's Caven Point Marine Terminal in Jersey City, NJ. USACE is interested in establishing Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPA) with multiple small business welding contractors for the services described in this notice below. The requirement is expected to be for an agreement of three to five years. Services required: General marine welding functions, welding of ship structures, marine welding and fabrication, corrective welding, critical welds, repair and/or replace existing facility equipment, marine pipe fitting, and general welding functions. ABS certified welders are required. Responses should include the following: (1) Small Business status: Identification and verification of the company as an SBA certified 8(a) firm, HUB Zone, Veteran Owned Small Business, Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Woman Owned Small Business, Economically Disadvantaged Woman Owned Small Business or Small Business for NAICS Code 238190 - Welding, on-site, contractors. (2) A CAGE Code and/or DUNS Number. (3) Business Address. (3) List of services provided. (4) Proof of being a licensed contractor eligible to work in the state of New Jersey. (3) Examples of past experience for similar services within the past five (5) years. Examples (if any) of experience with the Federal Government not more than 5 years old. For example, if you have had contracts with the Government during the past 5 years, provide a list of those contracts. Responses are due no later than 4:00PM EST on 07 November 2019, by email, to: matthew.lubiak@usace.army.mil
